Fired-Up is 42ft Custom Carolina Sport fisherman. We had the boat built by Holton Boat works of Wanchese, North Carolina. She is powered by a 700hp Detroit Desil for a cruising speed of 21 Knots.

The cockpit features 3 fighting chairs, a large insulated fishbox and a large ice box. Cabin Windows slide open for your comfort. Captain John Brantley has been charter fishing in Carolina Beach, North Carolina since 1983.

We Provide All Kinds of Offshore Adventures

We specialize in 1/2 day and 8 hour charter fishing trips. The half day trips are filled with Spanish Mackerel fun. We catch these in good numbers in season with sizes ranging from 1-2 lbs or larger. Spanish Mackerel are available from May thru October. Early Spring trips feature Bluefish and Bonitos. These are GREAT Family trips and Captain John Brantley and crew are KID Friendly! Smiling Faces is what fishing is all about.

The 8 Hour trips give us time to go offshore for King Mackerel and in season Mahi Mahi. Spring, Summer and Fall produce catches of King Mackerel, Bonito, Barracuda, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack and Grouper.

Fall fishing is at it's best for LARGE King Mackerel with October and November being the best months.

All bait and tackle is provided for the catch.
